Why we built this
Every cabin buyer faces the same problem early on: they know what they want, but getting from idea to floor plan to finished structure is slow, expensive, and opaque. Architects charge thousands just to show you a preliminary sketch. Builders quote without drawings. By the time a buyer has real plans in hand, they’ve spent months and real money just to see something on paper.
ClearPermit exists because there should be a faster, more honest way.

A note from Andy
I grew up spending every summer at a lake in Minnesota. That cabin wasn’t fancy — but it was the place where my family actually showed up for each other. No screens, no schedules. Just the dock, the water, and time that didn’t feel rushed.
I started ClearPermit because I watched too many people spend years imagining a cabin they never built. Not because they couldn’t afford it — because they couldn’t see it. They didn’t know what was possible on their lot, and they weren’t ready to write a $15,000 check to an architect just to find out.
So we built a faster, more affordable way to go from idea to image. A way to see your cabin — really see it — before you commit to anything.
That’s all this is. The step that was missing.
